Our Team

Mr. Peterson is a Managing Director with CIBC US Middle Market Investment Banking, currently focusing on the Business Services and Software and Technology sectors. Over a 41-year career he has provided merger and acquisition, financing, and other transaction advisory services for entrepreneurs and other owners of, investors in, lenders to, and executives of privately-held and publicly-traded companies in numerous industries.

Mr. Peterson previously was a Managing Director at Cleary Gull Inc., Co-Head of Investment Banking for Tucker Anthony Sutro, a corporate lawyer in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin, firm of Godfrey & Kahn, S.C., and an Illinois-licensed CPA in the tax department of the Chicago office of Arthur Young & Co.

Mr. Peterson is a member of the Board of Directors of Gemini Health, LLC. He previously served on the boards of Liturgical Publications, Inc., Cleary Gull Holdings Inc., Krueger International, Inc. (“KI”), Richardson Electronics, Inc. (NASDAQ: RELL), the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, and the Milwaukee Florentine Opera Company. He earned a BA in Accounting with high honors from Michigan State University and obtained his JD (Order of the Coif) from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
